   The Court dismissed Elena Petrovna Timchenko's appeal against the General Court judgment that had dismissed her action for annulment of the Council's restrictive-measures acts and her claim for compensation for non-material harm. It held that the Council could apply the association criterion to her as the wife of Gennady Timchenko, that Article 29 TEU permitted the measures affecting her EU free-movement rights, and that the resulting limitation was proportionate and respected the essence of those rights. The Court ordered her to pay the costs.
